The Last Call

The vision of Lou Engle and Che Ahn for The Call in the US was completed Saturday 11/29/03 in Dallas at The Cotton Bowl.

Between 10 and 12 thousand youth and their shepherds (my estimate) braved 28° cold to gather before the Lord for fasting, worship, intercession, warfare, and repentance. They were led by a truly diverse company of apostolic and prophetic men and women from across North America.

My intercessor traveling partner, Rick LaMie and I arrived at The Cotton Bowl at 3AM. But we were not the first to arrive. Intercessors from Texas had been bathing the entire facility with prayers since 6PM the previous evening. They invited us to join them for communion at the stage in the frigid dimly lit stadium. As they also prayed for us, their welcome was a clear prophetic picture that Dallas was ready to embrace journeying Christians, and the balm of Gilead they carried to heal the city. A major focus of The Call – Dallas was a cleansing, 30 years after Roe V. Wade (originated in Dallas) and 40 years after the death of JFK.

At 5:00AM the lights came on and volunteers began to pour in. Worship began at 5:30 from the stage.

Lou Engle began the 12 hours of The Call just before 7 and immediately Native American leader Negeil Bigpond announced that this was to be the day we began breaking curses off the nation for abuses to Native Americans.

It had started!

Serious business, breaking curses. One hundred youth from The Call and Native Americans had traced the Trail of Tears through October and November, calling out to God for reconciliation. Saturday was a day of endings.

The Lord had revealed the hidden connection of broken treaties and abortion in America. The red book John Benefiel is holding (partially hidden behind the monitor cabinet) contains details of 372 broken covenants between First Nations Peoples and the United States Government. Innocent people died. Unborn Cheyenne babies were cut from their mothers on several occasions. This is very likely the root cause of 43-million American dead babies since Roe V. Wade in 1973.

In 2 Samuel 21, ONE broken covenant was responsible for three years of famine in Israel. Joshua made the covenant, Saul broke it, and David had to fix it. Saturday in Dallas, we were David. It was our responsibility to repair 372 covenant breaches.

Kansas Senator Sam Brownback, representing the US Government repented for broken treaties and abused people. He announced that a bill has been introduced in Congress asking official forgiveness for these sins. President Bush says he will sign it. Negeil Bigpond spoke prophetically. He said on the day this bill is signed, look to the eastern sky for a sign for God. It would indicate that the curse of abortion was broken.

In total, repentance, forgiveness and proclamations were spoken to break curses in these areas:

  • Stronghold of Death in America
  • Abuses against Native Americans
  • Abuses against African Americans
  • Abortion
  • Texas and The City of Dallas (JFK Assassination and Roe v. Wade)

Different streams of the Body of Christ were identified by the recent home-going of Bill Bright (Evangelicals), Derek Prince (Charismatic Intercessors), and Kenneth Hagin (Faith Movement). The mantles of these Elijah leaders are now falling on the youth of America.

Some of those who spoke: Mike Bickle, Negeil Bigpond, Jay Swallow, John Benefiel, Billy Joe & Sharon Daugherty, Bishop Harry Jackson, James Robison, Senator Sam Brownback, Dutch Sheets, Cindy Jacobs, Jim Goll, Chuck Pierce, Mike Hays, David Barton, Shawn Boltz, Paul Cain, Rocket Ishmael, Todd Bentley, Jill Austin, Michael Brown, Ron Luce, David Shibley, Lou Engle and Che Ahn.

Finally, out of the dissipating darkness came a vital commissioning for the youth. Everyone born since 1973 is part of a “chosen generation,” whose parents had the choice to legally kill them before they were born. They will be an army of warriors fighting to bring this nation back to its original calling as a place of unity in diversity. All streams flowing together to advance the Kingdom of God.

As for The Call, Lou and Che say the movement next goes down under Australia. God bless you guys!
There were strongholds over the nation broken at The Call. Thanks for praying for Rick and me, we needed it. We had about four hours of sleep in 48 hours. I’ll wring out the whole thing on Monday’s show on KFSA.

Leaders . . .

(Mark 10:43 NASB) "But it is not so among you, but whoever wishes to become great among you shall be your servant;

Political adversaries may criticize President Bush, but it is the mark of a servant to reject a traditional Thanksgiving with family in order to encourage troops and allies in Iraq.

And don’t tell me there was no risk to Air Force One. Earlier in the week, a DHL cargo jet was attacked by a shoulder-fired surface-to-air missile in the traffic pattern around Baghdad International Airport.

It is impossible to estimate the morale benefit for our fighting men and women on the streets of Iraq. Of similarly incalculable importance, is the image an American President putting himself in harm’s way, flying into the danger-zone, in an unstable Muslim country, on the final day of their holy month of Ramadan.

It will remind historians of Lincoln’s visit to Richmond, immediately after the city surrendered to Union forces. Lincoln not only wanted to embolden his troops, but also bring a measure of comfort to the people of the fallen Confederate capitol.

Skeptics need only focus on the emotion in the eyes of the Commander-in-Chief and the response from the hearts of 600 officers and men. Members of the 1st Armored Division, the 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment, and the 82nd Airborne had gathered to “hear” Thanksgiving remarks from the President read to them by Ambassador Bremer. Their acclamation, when the man walked into the room was described by the media as “thunderous.”

Once again, President Bush is a prophetic example to all leaders in the Body of Christ that in order to lead, we must serve.

Back from Dallas . . .

Back from Dallas, we’re airborne and cleared in HOT Monday 4-6 on AM950 KFSA.
